- CAUTION - Make sure your cookware is compatible with induction cooktops and mats before buying. An easy way to check if your cookware should be compatible is to touch a magnet to the bottom of your cookware and see if it sticks and holds strongly to the bottom of the pan. Most magnetic stainless steel cookware and cast iron pans are compatible. With cast iron pans please be careful not to exceed the mat's heat resistance
- Your cookware must have a flat base and strong magnetic coating to ensure it will work with the mat
- This product is NOT an induction plate adapter to use non-induction cookware. It is NOT compatible with induction plate adapters
- Pans may heat slower when using induction mat especially if cookware has a weak magnetic coating
- If your cookware only has a thin layer of magnetic coating your induction may have trouble recognizing your cookware when using the mat
